We're proud to partner with the Silver Eagle Project, a unique hands-on program designed especially for veterans. Located right on our property, this engaging initiative brings together older adults to connect, create, and find renewed purpose through shared projects and camaraderie.
Our clients can easily access the Silver Eagle workshop during its open hours --Monday through Thursday, 10am to 3pm. Whether your loved one is a seasoned craftsman or just curious to try something new, they are welcome to participate at their own pace and comfort level.
What is the Silver Eagle Project?
Founded by Mark Lee in 2015, the Silver Eagle Project began as a small group of retired men building things together in a five-bay workshop. It has grown into a thriving community where seniors --especially veterans and former Boeing employees-- come together to work shoulder-to-shoulder on meaningful projects like:
-
Woodworking and metalworking
-
Aircraft building
-
Crafting and design projects
Rather than focusing on traditional senior care activities, the Silver Eagle Project taps into the value of hands-on work, shared purpose, and authentic bonding.
A Perfect Pairing
As proud supporters of this incredible program, we make it easy for our senior clients to access the Silver Eagle Project as part of their weekly routine. Many of our respite and day-use clients enjoy stopping by to observe or get involved -- and they are always welcomed with open arms.
Whether your loved one is looking to stay active, make new friends, or reconnect with a lifelong passion for building, our partnership with Silver Eagle creates an ideal environment for personal fulfillment and connection.
